Noorpurbedi Police Arrest Two Fugitives Wanted in Separate Cases

Noorpurbedi, 13 December  (Daljit Channoli): The Noorpurbedi police successfully apprehended two individuals who had been declared fugitives in separate cases.

According to Noorpurbedi Police Station Chief Gurvinder Singh Dhillon, the first case involved Rajesh Kumar Arora, son of Jagdish Kumar, a resident of Village Phool Chakkar Mohalla, Rupnagar. He had been named in case number 66 of 2017 under Sections 406 and 420 of the IPC and had been declared a fugitive by the honorable court.

In the second case, Lakvir Singh, also known as Lakkha, son of Narendra Singh, a resident of Village Railmajra, was named in case number 189 of 2020 under Sections 283, 304A, 337, and 427 of the IPC. He too had been declared a fugitive by the court.

Both fugitives were arrested by Noorpurbedi police under the leadership of Sub-Inspector Harmesh Kumar and Balveer Chand. They were presented in the Anandpur Sahib Court, where the honorable judge ordered both individuals to be sent into judicial custody for 14 days.
