Bassi Pathana, April 8 (Uday Dhiman): The 28th free ration distribution event was organized by Bahawalpur Baradri Mahasangh Bassi under the leadership of President Um Prakash Mukheja at the Bahawalpur Dharmsala, Mahla Guru Nanak Pura. A total of 28 needy families were provided with essential ration supplies. The chief guest of the event was Seth Atma Chand Kapde Wala.
The chief guest highlighted that for the past 22 years, the Mahasangh has been working with the support of generous donors to carry out social, religious, and community services. The Mahasangh connects one needy family every month and organizes blood test camps and laboratory services regularly. Additionally, the Mahasangh runs a free sewing center in Bahawalpur. He stated that while everyone works for themselves, it is not easy for everyone to work for others.
The event was attended by former Nagar Council President Ashok Dhiman, Sarpanch Madan Lal Tullani, Vasdev Nanda, Om Prakash Thareja, Leela Ram, Senior Vice Chairman Kishan Aroda, Vice President Gopal Krishna Haseja, and Cashier Ram Lal Kosal, along with several other local leaders and supporters.
