Phagwara, 7th April (Preet Kaur Preeti) – A prayer ceremony for the well-being and peace of the area residents was initiated today with the start of the Akhand Path Sahib at Khatti Bridge (Chakk Prema Mor) by the Gram Panchayat of Village Harbanspur and the community of the nearby villages Seekeri and Harbanspur, with the support of local residents.
During the event, Amrik Singh Seekeri, Senior Member of the Bharati Kisan Mazdoor Union Punjab, and Deepa Jagjeetpur shared that on April 9th, Wednesday, at 10 AM, the conclusion of the Akhand Path Sahib would be followed by a Kirtan Diwan. The Kirtan will be led by Baba Pritam Singh Kutiya Sahib of Dumele.
They explained that the purpose of this religious event is to pray to God for the elimination of the frequent road accidents on the Phagwara-Hoshiarpur Road. During the ceremony, Langar (community meal) service will be provided to all attendees. They also urged all area residents to attend the religious event and seek blessings for the safety and well-being of everyone.
