Jaito, 8th April (Raghunandan Parashar): A heated meeting of the Patient Welfare Committee of Civil Hospital Jaito was held under the leadership of Dr. Virender Kumar, the SMO. Committee member Surinder Garg, a retired R.A., informed that the primary discussion was focused on the dilapidated condition of the hospital building and the seating arrangements for patients.
During the meeting, Dr. Harish Goel, President of Jaito Municipal Council, who was present, listened attentively to all the issues and assured that under the guidance of MLA Amolak Singh, these problems would be resolved soon.
On this occasion, Sant Shominder Singh (Rishi Ram Ji), the head of the Deri Vivek Ashram Jallal unit in Jaito, suggested that in the absence of government facilities, temporary measures could be taken with the help of social organizations in the city. Respecting his suggestion, Rakesh Romana, Chairman of the Lion Eye Care Center, and Praveen Jindal, Chairman of the Lion Club Goodwill, took the initiative to contribute 10,000 rupees each from their organizations towards this cause.
The meeting was also attended by Medical Officer Dr. Rajveer Kaur, Nursing Superintendent Baljeet Kaur, Supervisor CDPO Charanjit Kaur, Anil Kumar from the Water and Sanitation Department, Amarjeet Singh from the BDPD Department, and social worker Lavleen Kochar, among others. Present at the meeting were Sant Rishi Ram Ji, Dr. Virender Kumar SMO, Committee member Surinder Garg (Retired R.A.), and others.
