Malerkotla, April 8 (Boparai):A 7-day NSS camp was successfully organized at Government Senior Secondary Smart School, Lasoi, under the leadership of Assistant Director Youth Services Malerkotla and Principal Preeti Singla with NSS Program Officer Lecturer Bharpur Singh overseeing the event. The camp concluded successfully on the previous day.
During the closing ceremony, Mansukh Kaur, the chief guest, extended a warm welcome. Nodal Officer, Youth Services Malerkotla, Sanjeev Kumar Singla, praised the activities carried out by the volunteers during the seven-day camp and congratulated the school principal Preeti Singla and the entire school staff.
Throughout the camp, the children were not only given moral education but were also inspired to stay away from drugs. Volunteers also contributed to cleaning local areas and planted saplings as part of their community service.
At the closing ceremony, Lecturer Balwinder Singh expressed special gratitude to Assistant Director Youth Services Malerkotla, Dr. Dilwar Singh, and Shri Sanjeev Kumar Singla for their support in organizing the camp.
Other prominent personalities present at the ceremony included Harbhajan Singh, Dalveer Singh Kaka, Manpreet Singh Panch, Gurpreet Singh, Balveer Singh, Kulveer Singh, Parminder Kaur, Davinder Kaur, and many others.
