Kapurthala, 6 December (Kaura): In adherence to the guidelines of the Education Department, an educational tour for 8th-grade students of Government High School, Hebatpur, was successfully organized under the leadership of District Education Officer (Secondary) Kapurthala, Daljinder Kaur (State Awardee), and Deputy District Education Officer (Secondary) Rajesh Bhalla (State Awardee).
The students, guided by Jagjit Singh (Computer Faculty), Suman Bala (Hindi Mistress), and Dalbir Kaur (Art and Craft Teacher), visited prominent religious, historical, and culturally significant sites showcasing Punjab’s rich heritage. These included Shri Harmandir Sahib, Jallianwala Bagh, and the War Memorial in Amritsar.
The tour commenced with a visit to Shri Harmandir Sahib, where students paid their respects. Following this, they visited Jallianwala Bagh, where they learned about the sacrifices of the great martyrs who laid down their lives for India’s freedom.
In the final phase of the tour, the students were taken to the War Heroes Memorial, where they were educated about the valor of the nation’s soldiers and the great warriors of Sikh history.

This educational tour provided the students with invaluable insights into the rich cultural and historical legacy of Punjab, leaving a lasting impression on their young minds.
