Police Arrest Thieves Involved in Robberies in Market

 DSP Calls for Public Support to End Crime

Jagraon, December 13 (Jaswinder Singh Dangiya): Under the direction of SSP Navneet Singh Bains, a campaign against thieves was launched in the district of Ludhiana. ASP (D) Parminder Singh, DSP Varinder Singh Khosla, and Inspector Amritpal Singh led a successful operation resulting in the arrest of several criminals involved in market robberies.

The police received information from an informant about a criminal gang led by Bomb Bola and Santosh, who were conducting burglaries in locked homes, shops, and markets, mainly at night. They would also steal motorcycles, erase engine and chassis numbers, and sell them. Santosh had several previous theft charges against him.

After raiding slums, the police arrested Bomb Bola and recovered stolen items including 2 inverters, 1 kirpan, 2 daggers, women’s clothing, 3 brass pans, a large steel pan, various steel and iron items, 2 watches, and 1 Splendor motorcycle.

DSP Khosla stated that Bomb Bola and Santosh were arrested, and the remaining gang members were warned to cease their criminal activities or face consequences. He emphasized that with the public’s support, crime could be quickly eradicated.
