Famous Kabaddi player Sukhjeet Singh Kala Tiba passes away.

Kapurthala, April 7 (Kaur) – Sukhjeet Singh Kala, a renowned Kabaddi player from the village of Tiba in Kapurthala district, and the son of the late Rattan Singh Rattu, a former District Sports Officer, passed away unexpectedly this morning. He was 54 years old and had played Kabaddi for a long time as part of the Punjab Police team. He leaves behind a son and a daughter.

His younger brother, Sukhdev Singh Budhoo from England, mentioned that he had been ill for some time. The last rites for the deceased, Sukhjeet Singh Kala, were performed today at the cremation ground in his village, Tiba. A large number of local residents, relatives, and prominent Kabaddi players from the community were present for the ceremony.

Among those present were former Sarpanch and AAP leader Bibi Jaswinder Kaur Bhagat, Dalvinder Singh, Coach Harpreet Singh Ruby, Kabaddi players Balvinder Singh Tur, Resham Singh Raunki, Coach Sarup Singh, Coach Kulbeer Singh Kali, Lecturer Samund Singh, Master Jaswinder Singh, former SDM Sukhdev Singh, Amarjeet Singh, Sukhjinder Singh, and others.
