Kapurthala, 8th April (Kohra): Sahibzada Ajit Singh Institution Worker Club Rail Coach Factory Kapurthala Secretary Naresh Bharti informed that the second match of the Annual Cricket Competition League, organized by the club, was played between the Accounts Department and the General Branch.In this match, the Accounts Department won the toss and chose to bat first. They scored 171 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. In response, the General Branch team, unable to withstand Rajan Ohri’s excellent bowling, was bowled out for just 66 runs.
The second match of the Annual Cricket Competition League today was played between UK Riders Cricket Club and RCF Warriors Club. UK Riders won the toss and decided to bat first, scoring 91 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. In response, Ashwani Kaman scored 15 runs, Surinder scored 29, and Rajiv Kaman made 24 runs to help RCF Warriors Club chase down the total and secure a victory, leading their team into the next round.Secretary Naresh Bharti mentioned that this year, 17 teams are participating in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Institution’s cricket competition, and all teams are divided into 4 pools. To make the competition successful, Harpreet Singh, Avtar Singh, Ashwani Kumar, Anil, Vinod Kumar, Vinod Kumar, President Baldev Raj, and Pramod Kumar are playing important roles. On this occasion, a large number of spectators, including Amrik Singh and Sarabjeet Singh, were present.
