He referenced the recent seizure of illegal drugs by a female constable of the Punjab Police, Amanpreet Kaur, which pointed to a serious investigation issue.Brahmpura urged Punjab’s Governor, Gulab Chand Kataria, to intervene in the matter and called for the involvement of central investigative agencies, such as the National Investigation Agency (NIA), to investigate the drug-related allegations against senior Punjab Police officers.He strongly asserted that the Bhagwant Mann government appeared to be protecting some corrupt officials within the police force and stressed the need for strict intervention by the central government to restore Punjab’s prosperity.Brahmpura also acknowledged and appreciated the efforts of Punjab’s Governor Kataria in trying to personally curb drug trafficking in the state.
