Parents of Students Deserve Praise: Manpreet
Kapurthala, December 6 (Kaura) – The 19th Annual Prize Distribution and Cultural Program of Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, located opposite the Rail Coach Factory, was celebrated with great fervor. Manpreet Singh, Divisional Soil Conservation Officer, Patiala, graced the event as the chief guest, while Evjot Kaur and Engineer Swarn Singh, President of Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Sultanpur Lodhi, participated as special guests.
The management committee of the school, led by Bibi Gurpreet Kaur, a member of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Amritsar, along with Director Engineer Harniamat Kaur, Administrator Engineer Nimrata Kaur, Principal Prabhdeep Kaur Monga, staff members, and students, warmly welcomed the esteemed guests.
The program commenced with a spiritual hymn followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the guests. Students presented a spectacular cultural performance. Addressing the gathering, Bibi Gurpreet Kaur thanked the chief guest, special guests, and parents for attending the event. Principal Prabhdeep Kaur Monga presented the annual report, highlighting the achievements of students in academics, sports, religion, and cultural fields.
Chief guest Manpreet Singh lauded the cultural performances by the students and emphasized the collective responsibility to reduce pollution and save Mother Earth. He appealed to parents to keep children under 16 away from mobile phones, stressing its importance in today’s times. Praising the management, principal, and dedicated staff, he stated that the parents of the students are commendable as their children’s future is secure in this institution.
During the event, students excelling in academics, sports, religion, and cultural activities were specially honored.
Prominent attendees included Renu Arora, Principal of Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, Sultanpur Lodhi; Nidhi Sangotra, Principal of Nankana Sahib Khalsa Senior Secondary School; KK Gehra, Principal of Kendriya Vidyalaya 2; and other notable figures like Nand Singh Bidhipur, Harjinder Singh Laddi, Bhagwan Singh Maripur, Gurdayal Singh, and Jaspal Singh Bajwa, among others. A large number of parents and staff members, including Madam Narinder Pattar, Jaswinder Singh, Shinderpal Kaur, Rajni Arora, and Suman Deep Kaur, were present at the event.
