Jaito, April 8 (Raghunandan Parashar): Bharatiya Janata Party’s National Farmers’ Leader Sukhbinderpal Singh Grewal has thanked Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah and the central government for issuing the notification to implement the Waqf (Amendment) Act, 2025.
Speaking with the media, Grewal said, “This new law is a historic step towards bringing transparency and efficiency in the management of Waqf properties. It reflects the government’s commitment to accountability and fair administration.”
He also mentioned that this move would now make it easier to prevent the misuse of Waqf properties and ensure they are used for their intended purpose. Grewal expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Shri Amit Shah for this visionary and decisive decision and stated that it is a significant achievement for the nation’s welfare and good governance.
