Sri Muktsar Sahib, 7th April The inauguration of the Community Managed Training Center under the Ujjala CLF, a part of the Punjab Rural Livelihoods Mission (PRLM), was conducted by Sri Surinder Singh Dhillon, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development), Sri Muktsar Sahib.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner shared that this center will be managed by the Ujjala Cluster Level Federation. The center will provide training to Self-Help Groups (SHGs) formed under the Punjab State Rural Livelihoods Mission (PSRLM). The primary objective of the center is to offer training to these SHGs, helping them become self-sustaining. This center will greatly benefit rural, poor women who are part of these self-help groups.
Furthermore, the center will also offer training programs for other departments or institutions that wish to conduct training, in accordance with the guidelines provided by the agency.
During the event, several key figures were present, including Sri Gurdarshan Kundal (DDPO), Sri Keval Kumar (BDPO Block Muktsar), Sri Ramnik Sharma (District Program Manager), Sri Saurab (District MIS), Sri Shivraj Singh (BPM), and Sri Dharamveer (CC), along with the entire staff of PSRLM and members of the self-help groups.
