Fatehgarh Panjtur (Moga), 7th July 2025 (Satnam Singh Danee Walia) – The renowned educational institution, Sri Hemkunt Sahib Senior Secondary School, celebrated World Health Day under the guidance of Principal Amardeep Singh and with the cooperation of the staff. The event was organized to raise awareness among students about the importance of health and wellness.
The celebration began with a special morning prayer session, during which students delivered speeches related to World Health Day and its global significance. Following this, the students participated in a variety of activities, including a salad-making contest, which focused on balanced nutrition, and other competitions to promote healthy habits.
Chairman of Hemkunt Institutions, Sardar Kulwant Singh Sandhu, Managing Director Mrs. Ranjit Kaur Sandhu, and Principal Amardeep Singh emphasized to the students that good health is not just about physical well-being but also involves mental and social health. They encouraged students to lead a balanced lifestyle by incorporating exercise, yoga, and daily walks into their routines. They also advised students to avoid junk food to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
On this occasion, students brought balanced meals based on healthy eating principles. Principal Amardeep Singh further shared that the school celebrates national and international days to raise awareness among students about important global issues.
The entire school staff and students were present during the event, making it a successful celebration of health awareness.
