Faridkot Police Exposes Vehicle Theft Gang, Arrests 2 Criminals, Recovers 12 Stolen Motorcycles 

Faridkot, December 13, 2024 (Gurdeep Singh Dhillon) Under the leadership of Dr. Pragya Jain, IPS, SSP Faridkot, the Faridkot police has been running a continuous special campaign against criminals. As part of this effort, Faridkot police have been conducting raids to arrest such offenders. Under the guidance of Jasmeet Singh Sahival, SP (Investigation), and Tarlochan Singh, DSP (Faridkot), Faridkot police successfully arrested two members of a vehicle theft gang and recovered 12 stolen motorcycles. Under the supervision of Inspector Gurvinder Singh, in charge of CIA Faridkot, and ASI Veeram Singh, the team was on a routine patrol near Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital, Faridkot. They were informed that the accused, Luvpreet Singh alias Luvly and Dharmpreet Singh alias Kala, both residents of Deep Singh Wala, Faridkot, were involved in stealing motorcycles and selling them. The police then spotted them near Sadiq Road, near Jahaz Ground, where they were found with stolen motorcycles.

A case was registered under Sections 303(2), 317(2)/238 BNS at City Police Station Faridkot (Case No. 438 dated 10.12.2024), and the two criminals were arrested with two stolen motorcycles. Further investigation led to the recovery of 10 more stolen motorcycles from the accused.
