To commemorate the 349th Shaheedi Diwas of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, Bhai Mati Das Ji, Bhai Sati Das Ji, and Bhai Dayala Ji, a week-long observance is being held from December 3 to December 7 at Shri Lal Gurdwara Sahib, Mohalla Dhobian, Bassi Pathana. As part of the celebrations, a grand Nagar Kirtan was organized by the congregation of Shri Lal Gurdwara Sahib.
The Nagar Kirtan featured mesmerizing displays of Gatka (traditional Sikh martial art) by Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh Gatka Akhara from Fatehgarh Sahib, leaving the attendees inspired. The event also included devotional kirtan that enthralled the participating devotees.
To reach devotees at home, the Nagar Kirtan was broadcast live by Bhai Kuldeep Singh Noor through the Rozana Phagwara Bulletin Gurbani Live channel. The procession passed through various locations and markets of the city before concluding at Shri Lal Gurdwara Sahib.
Prominent attendees included Paramjit Singh, Kamaldeep Singh, Baljeet Singh, Atbhir Singh, Manjot Singh Anand, Arshdeep Singh Arora, Harkirat Singh Anand, Harpreet Singh Anand, Inderbir Singh,
Maninder Singh, Jograj Singh, and Gurdit Singh Patwal, along with a large gathering of devotees. The event was marked by deep reverence and community participation.
