In the village of Ramaiana, the Martyrdom Day of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji was observed with great devotion at Gurdwara Sahib Patshahi Dasvi. The event was organized by the Sukhmani Seva Society in collaboration with the local congregation. The observance began with the recitation of Sri Akhand Path Sahib, whose final prayers were offered on December 6.
The Sri Akhand Path Sahib, initiated on December 4, was attended and served with dedication by the women of the Sukhmani Seva Society. The congregation participated in large numbers, demonstrating unity and devotion. Volunteers rendered heartfelt service, including cooking and washing utensils, while the recitation of Gurbani continued seamlessly for three days under the guidance of the pathis (readers).
At the culmination of the event, Granthi Bhai Jaskaran Singh led the Ardas (prayer) for the welfare of all. Renowned preacher Giani Ajaib Singh narrated the life and unparalleled martyrdom of the ninth Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. He highlighted Guru Sahib’s supreme sacrifice at Chandni Chowk in Delhi, where he, along with his devoted Sikhs, set an unparalleled example of standing for righteousness and freedom of faith.
Giani Ajaib Singh further explained that this unmatched
sacrifice laid the foundation for Guru Gobind Singh Ji to establish the Khalsa Panth and lead the Sikh community toward a new era of valor and spirituality.
During the event, the congregation was served the Guru Ka Langar (community kitchen) without interruption, symbolizing equality and service.
